The college conducts the annual sports meet with a variety of events. They participate in State/National competitions. Inter house competitions are conducted on sports meet to prove the students’ physical abilities and skills. Every year the students of this college participate in the Inter Training College Sports Meet. The students have won Individual Championship for men and women meet.

Neha Jamwal of GOVT. COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, CANAL ROAD, JAMMU bagged third prize at INTER COLLEGE SYMPOSIUM on the theme “RIGHTS OF THE GIRL CHILD” held on 30th January 2014 at Govt. College for Women, Parade and organized by the DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION, J&K in collaboration with JAMMU AND KASHMIR STATE SOCIAL WELFARE BOARD.
Jasmeet singh and Mohinder singh bagged 3rd position in Province level quiz competition on “Right to Information Act, 2009” held at town hall Kathua.
Slogan writing competition was held in the college on 27th of Sep, 2012 in collaboration with blood bank GMC, Jammu. Jasmeet Singh and Mohinder Singh participated in the event and Jasmeet Singh was awarded 1st prize.
Mohinder Singh participated in inter-state declamation contest (north zone) at GCW, Gandhi Nagar on 29th Sept, 2012 for Silver rolling trophy instituted by His Excellency, the Governor of J&K Sh. N.N Vohra. He spoke on one of the themes “Student’s counseling- Road to Success”.
